Countdown to 2003
As 2002 comes to a close and we look forward to 2003, I
would like to look back on some of the hunts and experiences that
helped make 2002 such a memorable year. My mother says, "we just
go through life making memories" that being the case we made some
excellent memories in 2002.
Jason McCullen & his Hunt of a Lifetime Fallow #1 - Jason McCullen was a Hunt of a Lifetime hunter from New Jersey. Jason was fighting lung cancer and wanted to hunt deer in Texas. Thanks to a gentleman by the name of James Carrico (Crow to his Friends), Jason experienced not only a Fallow hunt but an Axis hunt as well. This special hunt will be featured on Texas Deer Hunter TV and you will not want to miss it. It was a hunt and a memory that I will cherish forever. Jason lost his fight with cancer, but he left many of us with a spirit that will never die . #2 - We all have dreams and I am no exception. Every since I was a kid, I have always wanted to harvest an elk with long daggers (fourth point). It was one of those dreams that seemed to far fetched to ever become reality. Oh yea, like many of you I spent my time on elk hunts where I didn't ever see an elk much less one like I had envisioned as a kid. That dream came true on an elk hunt with Craig Hayes. That is why it ranks number 2 in 2002's most memorable hunts.
Dreams do come true. Contact Craig Hayes 877-486-8355 for your dream elk hunt . #3-
Montana Rocosa Red Deer
Montana Roscosa Red Deer ranked number 3 in my most memorable hunts. This
is due in part to the magnificent animal, their mating roar and the particulars
of the hunt. You too can experience a hunt like this by clicking
on Montana Rocosa above and calling Joey.
