My loss, his gain!!!! This better shot from Florida displays his Wilson Whitetail Ranch buck that I failed to harvest due to a bad shot.  Congratulations, my hat is off to him and his excellent buck. What the heck is it??? What would you have thought, if you would have seen a track made with this hoof. December 20, 2002:  On a recent trip to Sabinal, I met a man who had just harvested a mule deer with the hoof pictured above.  It is unusual to say the least, but it also had a back hoof with the same type of configuration on it hoof.  Does anyone know what causes this??????
