The
Donihoo Ranch is located in Hamilton County about 13 miles
south of the City of Hamilton, Texas. Family owned and operated
by Mary Donihoo and Curtis York, the Donihoo Ranch is approximately
1000 acres of some of the best wildlife habitat in the state of Texas,
a true hunters paradise. The ranch is home of plentiful mature
whitetail, axis, blackbuck, turkey, feral hogs and varmints. It offers the
hunter a unique opportunity to hunt and see a lot of wildlife in a
natural Texas setting.
The Donihoo Ranch had not been hunted in 5 years until December 2011 when Mary and Curtis joined with Jim Autrey of Texas Deer Hunter to begin offering managed hunts to control and enhance wildlife populations. It is not unusual to see 40 or more whitetail bucks a day, plus axis and blackbucks. The Donihoo Ranch offers the hunter a unique opportunity to be selective in their harvest of a true Texas Braggin' Buck or Exoctic. |
